Our missional communities are each holding fun, family-friendly, open house events so you can find out more about their groups and decide how you'd like to get connected. The Friday group is hosting a dessert social on Friday, Oct 27 from 7:15 to 9:15 at David & Kristina Bunney's home (155 Lanterman Close in Lancaster). Their next meeting is on Nov 3 (same time, same place).
The Wednesday group is hosting a games & dessert party on Saturday, Oct 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at the church. This group regularly meets to support the newcomer/refugee family that our church has sponsored. Their next UP-time is Wednesday, Nov 8 at 7:30 pm at Ben & Chantel Tombs' home (152 Dixon Cres in Deer Park Estates).
The Thursday group is hosting a potluck and games party on Sunday, Oct 29 at 12:30 pm at Jack & Susan Bromley's home (75 Lawrence Cres in Lancaster Meadows). RSVP to Ben. This group regularly meets to provide respite care for people supporting a loved one with dementia. Their next UP-time is Thursday, Nov 9 at 7:30 pm at Dennis & Eunice Liesch's home (83 Adams Close in Anders South).
The Monday group, led by Jason & Laura Unruh, is hosting a hot dog roast on Sunday, Oct 29 at 4 pm at Chris and Donna Rand's home (72, 39026 Range Road 275 by Blue Grass Nursery). This group is still deciding when they will meet going forward, and what their service will be.
